Festivals Spice Up Springtime at Silver Dollar City®
As usual, Silver Dollar City® – considered one of the top family-friendly theme parks in the world – has an array of exciting surprises for guests to Chateau on the Lake set to be revealed this Spring!
Opening Spring Break of 2007, Silver Dollar City presents the GIANT Swing! A $6 million project, the ride will launch theme park visitors more than seven stories in the air – and nearly upside down – at roller-coaster speeds! But this is not the only new development sure to excite our Branson hotel guests.
Silver Dollar City® also features three extended, fascinating festivals this year – perfect for the families that visit our Branson hotel. The Bluegrass & BBQ Festival, from May 12 to June 3, 2007, is a 23-day event of delicious food and bluegrass featuring 11-Time Grammy Winner Ricky Skaggs in concert on May 27th.
The World-Fest, lasting an entire month from April 5 to May 6, presents tasty foods from all over the world. We also invite guests to our Branson hotel to join Silver Dollar City® in welcoming international performers, including the amazing Zunyi Acrobats of China.
And finally, the National Kid’s Fest (June 9 – August 12) presents the Circus of the Century – On Ice! During this festival, guests to our Branson hotel can also enjoy Bounce, a new all-American basketball show, plus a variety of intriguing activities designed especially for kids!
