Celebration City: An Exhilarating Branson Theme Park
From the people who brought you Silver Dollar City, Celebration City promises fun for guests of all ages staying at Chateau on the Lake. At this unique, 112-acre theme park, which opened in 2003, our Branson resort guests enjoy thrilling rides, themed entertainment, an impressive evening Laser Light Show and much more.
Among the rides and attractions, you’ll discover go-karts, miniature golf, distinct Branson shopping and family-style dining. And, NEW in 2007, your family can enjoy a Branson hotel vacation like none other when you experience The Stinger! This new ride whirls riders up and around in cars that fly in a high-speed circle – exhilarating all who ride it.
The Stinger joins Celebration City's 21 rides, ranging from the 8-story, classic wooden roller coaster Ozark WildCat and the breathtaking tower-drop ride Accelerator, to family favorites like the Electric Star Wheel ferris wheel and a vintage carousel. Unsurprisingly, Branson hotel guests love that there are dozens of ways to fascinate kids and the young at heart all day at this Branson attraction. In addition to new rides, new shows at Celebration City in 2007 feature amazing animals that have been a hit among Branson hotel visitors! “The Splash! Sea Lion Show” presents California sea lions demonstrating their intelligence and agility, while “Parrot Party” displays clever parrots and macaws. Both shows run May 25 through August 19, 2007.
Ideal for young Branson hotel visitors, a new VeggieTales® interactive experience – the “VeggieTales® Silly Song Sing-Along” – is offered throughout the summer. Kids can sing along with the cast to their favorite songs, and afterward they can meet the stars, Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber.
At the end of an eventful day, the nighttime explodes with a $3 million special effects show, “Ignite the Night.” This dramatic presentation features huge water cannons, gigantic video projections and special effects – all telling a story of the American spirit and held on the park's Great Lawn at 9:30 each night.
Celebration City, a Silver Dollar City Attraction, is open from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. all summer long.
