At Chateau on the Lake, we pride ourselves on being a family-friendly resort - a place that you and your kids can enjoy together AND that your kids can enjoy as much as you can. That's why we offer a variety of fun activities designed to entertain the younger set.
 Crawdaddies Kids' Club
Crawdaddies, our supervised kids' club, hosts a variety of activities for children ages 4-12. It's great fun for the kids and the perfect way for you to spend a couple of hours at our new Spa Chateau or out on the links.
The Chateau has a full-time children's activities coordinator on staff who is constantly coming up with new and fun ways to entertain and educate our young friends. On a seasonal basis, Crawdaddies conducts organized programs to keep the kids happy and involved. What's more, Crawdaddies offers Nintendo 64 video play systems, computer games, shot clock basketball, puzzles, crafts and a whole lot of fun.
Crawdaddies is extremely popular and space is limited, so advanced reservations are required.
 Sassafras Theater
Located next door to Crawdaddies, the Sassafras Theater is our very own movie theater featuring comfortable stadium seating for 54 and state-of-the-art audio and video projection equipment.
Scheduled showings of popular children's movies (with complimentary popcorn) are a big hit with the younger set and families. When the theater is free, parents and children can pop in their favorite DVD and settle in for some great together time.
 Crawdaddies Kid's Club Milk & Cookies at Bedtime
Spend the weekend with us and while you read the bedtime story, we'll get the milk and cookies. On Friday and Saturday evening, from 7-8 p.m., our very own Lucky the Bear delivers complimentary milk and cookies to your bedroom door. Guests at the Chateau can arrange for bedtime delivery by filling out a form.
Special Children's Menus
Our award-winning gourmet restaurant, the Chateau Grille, knows how to please tiny tummies. Our master chef's offer a children's menu filled with favorite "feel good" foods. Your kids will also find pizzas, snacks, sandwiches, ice cream, sodas and special treats in the Chateau's other casual-dining restaurants.
Saturday Morning Story Time
Who needs Saturday morning cartoons when you can join Lucky the Bear under the Chateau Tree for a story in the Atrium lobby? Lucky the Bear's story-telling time begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays. (Seasonal)
 The Castle Playground
We invite your kids to spend endless hours climbing, sliding and swinging on the Castle Playground.
Chateau Amenities
Tennis is fun on our two full-size, lighted courts - and we provide complimentary tennis balls and rackets. Both our indoor and outdoor pools are heated (indoor) year-round, so supervised water play can continue throughout the seasons. Children's hours at the indoor pool end at 10:00 p.m.
Outdoor Adventures
With Mom and Dad along, fun at the Chateau expands to include all the water sports our full-service Marina has to offer - skiing, boating, fishing, waverunning, paddle boating, canoeing and more. Take the family hiking on our nature trail for an exciting Ozark Mountain adventure.
 Branson Excitement
Because we're in Branson - the entertainment capital of the world - there's a wealth of family-friendly activities. Live family stage shows line the streets of Branson. Just down the road you'll find a variety of theme parks, including Silver Dollar City, the Ozark's famous theme and amusement park, Celebration City and White Water Family Water Park. Plus you can visit plenty of new attractions, including the new Branson Landing and Titanic: The World's Largest Interactive Titanic Museum & Exhibit!
